Ms. Harper received a degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1993. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1997, where she served upon the editorial staff of the ABA Real Property Probate and Trust Journal. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Harper clerked for the South Carolina Court of Appeals for two years before entering private practice.
